Industrial Decarbonization Under Debate
Our colleague Miguel Gil, R&D Director, has recently participated in two events directly related to Industrial Decarbonization.
On Monday, February 26, from the Chamber of Commerce, we attended the event ‘Lo que dure un jamón’ about decarbonization experiences in industry and mobility.
The session began with a technical segment, which covered the three areas of decarbonization project management that companies need to take into consideration:
- Administration: presented by Mar Paños (General Director of Industrial Promotion and Innovation of the Government of Aragón)
- Financing, presented by María Teresa Ruiz Costal (Head of European Funds and Sustainability at Ibercaja Banco’s Corporate Banking), and solution providers, presented by Miguel Ángel Almalé (Regional Delegate of Siemens in Aragón)
It continued with testimonies from Grupo Avanza and IQE, who shared their cases of electrification and decarbonization, respectively
At Kalfrisa, we had the opportunity to share our experiences with the other participating companies in an environment deeply committed to the major challenge of industrial decarbonization.
A few days later, on Monday, March 4, Miguel presented on Aragón Radio’s Diario Económico with Ana Clavero, explaining how KALFRISA S.A.U. … …tackles the enormous challenge of industrial decarbonization, transforming our equipment through electric technologies and gases sourced from renewable energy.
A very interesting panel discussion in which we participated, alongside Pedro Ruiz Juste from IQE Group, who clearly explained the uncertainties and vision of a powerful industry like the chemical sector, and Miguel Ángel Almalé, who presented Siemens’ solutions for this transition.
