May, the month of trade fairs
In May, energy and environmental sector trade fairs are returning in full force.
AisTech Columbus
Kalfrisa, together with our colleagues Jorge Usón, Energy Area Manager, and Robert Lytle, Country Manager for the USA, will once again be present at AISTech, which will take place in Columbus, the capital of Ohio (United States), from May 6 to 9, 2024.
AISTech is North America’s largest annual steel technology conference and exposition, showcasing the latest technologies from around the world to help steel manufacturers compete more effectively. Most supplier companies for steel mills exhibit at the event, where they have the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new contacts with the best in the steel industry.

Hispack 2024 – Packaging, Process & Logistics
Hispack is the most important packaging trade fair in Spain and one of the most important in Europe. An event taking place at Feria de Barcelona from May 7 to 10, bringing together the entire packaging ecosystem, including the flexographic sector, of which Kalfrisa is a prominent partner. Kalfrisa will be present at HALL 2, Level 0, Street A, Stand 174, together with EcoImpress, our partner in the distribution and sale of machinery and accessories for the graphic arts sector and the production of inks and paints. On this occasion, Julio Benedí, Project Manager in the Emissions Treatment and Control area, will represent Kalfrisa and showcase our expertise in the elimination of volatile organic compounds, as well as our commitment to new technologies for industrial decarbonization, such as electric RTOs.
IFAT Munich 2024
IFAT Munich, from May 13 to 17, is the world’s leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management, offering innovations, resources and solutions specifically to address the environmental challenges around the world. The IFAT Munich exhibition is the flagship of a series of trade fairs taking place in China, India, Brazil, South Africa and Turkey as part of a global network for companies operating in the environmental technology sector.
Kalfrisa will attend this fair for the first time, where Daniel Álvarez will present various waste-to-energy solutions, and Roberto del Pozo will showcase our proposals for the elimination of volatile organic compounds in industrial gas emissions. Visit us at stand B5.517.
Funergal 2024
From May 16 to 18, Ourense will host the twelfth edition of Funergal, the international fair for the funeral sector, where a wide range of products and services adapted to the needs of professionals in the sector are presented. This time it will feature the presence of nine countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador and China. The program is complemented by training activities and will also include the International Congress of Funeral Directors, where the latest trends and concerns in this field will be analyzed.
Kalfrisa, a benchmark in the design and manufacture of funeral ovens, will, as usual, participate in this event. Pablo Cantabrana, Íber Almárcegui, and María José Causapé from the Cremation Department will represent the company at Funergal.
