Regenerative Thermal Oxidation

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

One of our business values is our environmental commitment. For this reason, one of the working areas of Kalfrisa is focused on the elimination of volatile organic compounds.

Volatile organic compounds or VOCs are molecules of hydrocarbons found in a gaseous state at ambient temperature, and depending on their classification they may cause great damage to the environment and health.

VOCs emitted to the atmosphere in different industrial processes have significant environmental consequences: they have a considerable impact on climate change and the greenhouse effect, and their effect on global warming is far greater than that produced by CO2.

The global commitment to preserve the environment from the impact of these compounds is reflected in different European and Spanish (RD 117/2003 as the main legislation) regulations, regarding the limitation of VOCs emissions. The aim or purpose of this regulation is to avoid or reduce the effects of these emissions on the environment and people.

To avoid emissions of these types of substances, at Kalfrisa we design and manufacture different types of “turnkey” installations adapted to the needs of the end user, providing a customised solution in each case.

One of  Kalfrisa's competitive advantages is our complete project service which includes design and development of the engineering or optimal solution; manufacture in our own warehouses, entailing greater control of product quality and traceability; implementation and specialised after-sales service.
