FUNERAL CREMATION FURNACES

FUNERAL CREMATION FURNACES

The cremation of bodies offers unquestionable advantages, as it eliminates the problems of space in cemeteries, it is more economical for families and more hygienic for public health. It avoids maintenance costs and burial place assignment. Cremation allows the memory of the deceased to be honoured in an easily transportable urn for storage or relocation, as well as being a widely accepted practice in society.

Kalfrisa has developed cremation furnaces of proven efficacy and profitability, which are fully automated and which respect environmental regulations in effect.

A cremation chamber receives the coffin and the body that is converted into ash.

A second post-combustion chamber allows the correct oxidation of the gases before their transparent and odourless release through the chimney.

The automated control system of our cremation furnaces controls the operation of the burners and the air distribution valves based on a continuous measurement of pressure, temperature and oxygen,

adapting the cremation process as necessary at all times.

For all our furnaces we offer a comprehensive technical assistance and support service, continuous maintenance service and remote assistance.

Incinerator for cemetery remains

KM C

The KMC incinerator for cemetery remains is designed to burn remains from exhumations and waste from the cemetery easily and effectively, without the need to break it apart first.

The double combustion chamber guarantees compliance with the current environmental regulation applicable to this type of waste, releasing transparent, odourless emissions.

Accessories

The installation of the cremation furnace can be supplemented with a mechanical system for input of the coffins and an ash processor.

Other tools such as ash collection spades and the urn for the ashes are delivered along with the device.

Input device

A particularly useful device in case of successive cremations, allowing a single operator to carry out the input, reducing the physical effort necessary and increasing their safety.

With this system, the coffin is gently placed on the floor of the cremation chamber, without causing impacts or dragging of the coffin on the floor of the chamber which may reduce its lifespan.

The process may be semi-automated, the operator having to carry out the pushing movement of the trolley, or completely automated and operated remotely from the electrical panel or another location.

Ash processor

Once the cremation is completed, the ashes are fully disintegrated and homogenised through a ball processor.

The device consists of a stainless steel cabinet with dimensions of 600 x 600 x 1,600mm.

The metallic container of the furnace in which the ashes have been collected is put into the processor, with no additional handling being necessary. The ashes, once processed, are automatically passed to the final urn.
